Assistant Director Steven Tepper will present “Right Sizing the Arts: Understanding the Human Dimensions of 21st Century Markets” at the annual performing arts booking, showcasing and professional development conference, Performing Arts Exchange (PAE), managed by South Arts and hosted by a different eastern city each year.
With Music City as a backdrop, this talk will explore how a new generation of artists and musicians are remaking the music industry and taking advantage of the human dimensions of 21st century markets. What can the nonprofit arts, particularly the presenting and touring sector, learn from these new models and new innovations?
PAE is the primary marketplace and forum for performing arts presenting and touring – artists and work, ideas, learning and information – in the eastern US.
